How am I gonna grow? How should I feel? All those things have their place of course, but I was convicted recently, nonetheless…
My son started the conviction. He was looking over my shoulder at my morning prayer journal and he said, “Mom, I see the word “I” a lot.”
He meant it phonetically but he was right…
I said, “I know, Jack. I really want to be more about “we,” emphatically.
I always need that reminder and I’m sure some of you do too!
The timing was great for my work, too. I was just about to roll out new phrasing for the merchandise for an Enneagram & Marriage tee and hoodie and I wanted to speak to how we can use our gifts to bless the world.
I love having fun and pointing to people so they are more growth-oriented but also giving-focused and Christ-like. In fact, our motto at Reflections is to be a reflection of Christ to those we serve.
